The road access has been slipped away by a massive slip!

 

The lighthouse is closed! :(

Update: Its looking like the road should be repaired by Xmas 2024!

Each year around 60,000 visitors are drawn to our stunning site to take a tactile tour of the lighthouse, absorb the magnificent panorama, and take a walk through time with the tragic tale of the HMS Orpheus - New Zealand’s worst shipwreck disaster.
